Many couples ask about Barcelona wedding costs, so we’ve put together this detailed guide to help you plan your day.

One of the first questions we’re always asked is:

What does a wedding in Barcelona actually cost?

The truth is, costs vary depending on guest count, venue, season, and the scale of design and production. That said, below you’ll find realistic investment ranges based on the type of weddings we usually plan in the Barcelona area. These numbers reflect actual costs for 2026 and 2027.

BARCELONA WEDDING BUDGET 2026 / 2027

For a well-produced wedding with 100 guests at a day-of venue, couples should generally expect an overall investment starting from 90,000 EUR

For a wedding with 90 guests at a day-of venue, couples should generally expect an overall investment starting from 85,000 EUR

Weddings with 80 guests at a day-of venue couples should expect an overall investment starting from 80,000 EUR

For a wedding with 70 guests at a day-of-venue couples should generally expect an overall investment starting from 75,000 EUR

Weddings with 60 guests at a day-of-venue couples should generally expect an overall investment starting from 70,000 EUR

With more bespoke or multi-day celebrations requiring a higher budget.

Venues

Private estates and historic properties that host one event per day typically range from 7,000 – 18,000 EUR depending on the venue and the season. Weekdays, Sundays and low season dates can be slightly lower.

Villa Rentals

Private villas offer a more immersive experience, with accommodation included. In high season (summer), a 7-night minimum stay is common. Mid and low season may allow 3–4 nights.

  • Full week rentals generally range between 19,000 – 40,000 EUR
  • Per night rates are usually 4,000 – 6,000 EUR

These fees cover accommodation exclusive rental of the property. Some villas charge an events fee per event. Kitchen usage fees are also common and are often already factored into catering proposals.

For villa weddings, the prices are slightly different:

Catering

Catering is one of the most significant investments — and understandably so. The food and service set the tone for the entire experience.

A full wedding menu in Barcelona typically ranges from 190,00 – 240,00 EUR per guest, depending on the caterer, menu selection, and guest count.

For celebrations of around 100 guests, prices usually sit between 190,00 – 205,00 EUR per person. Smaller weddings naturally have higher per-guest rates, since the essentials of a carefully curated menu and service remain the same. For instance, a wedding of 60 guests might see rates closer to 220,00 EUR per person.

This typically includes:

  • Cocktail hour with appetisers and open bar
  • Three-course seated dinner with wines
  • Two hours of open bar after dinner
  • In some cases: also the wedding cake

Additional elements:

  • Non-alcoholic welcome drinks: approx. 5,00 EUR per guest
  • Late night snacks: from 7,00 EUR per guest
  • Children’s menus: 60,00 – 70,00 EUR per child
  • Staff meals: 60,00 – 70,00 EUR per person (we usually need a total of 10-13 staff meals for the vendors)

Caterers may require a minimum guest count or create a custom proposal depending on your date.

Floral Design

Bridal bouquet: 250,00 – 300,00 EUR

Boutonniere / Buttonholes: 25,00 – 30,00 EUR/unit

Bridesmaids bouquets: 80,00 – 120,00 EUR/unit

Decor:

70 guests, from: 235,00 € per guest

These rates generally cover:

  • Ceremony chairs
  • Bar and high tables with linens for cocktail hour
  • Parasols for cocktail hour
  • Dinner tables and chairs with linens
  • Tableware, glassware, silverware, and napkins
  • Bar and high tables for the after-party

If you would like lounge seating for the cocktail hour or after-party, additional charges will apply.

Guest Transportation

Transport is often essential for destination weddings, particularly for countryside venues.

Investment typically ranges between: 1,500 – 4,500 EUR depending on guest count, distance and duration of hire.

Sound, Lights & DJ

Professional sound production across ceremony, cocktail, dinner and party, including technicians, DJ and standard party lighting for the dance floor and light garlands for the dinner usually starts from: 5,000 EUR

Live Music

Spanish guitarist (welcome moment, ceremony or cocktail hour): 500,00 – 600,00 EUR

String instruments duo for welcome moment + ceremony: from 1200,00 EUR

Duo (instrument + singer) for ceremony or cocktail hour: 2,500 – 4.000 EUR

Live band for cocktail hour: 3,500 – 5,000 EUR

Live band for after party: 4,000–10,000 EUR

Saxofonist to accompany the DJ during the party: from 950,00 EUR

Officiant

An English speaking officiant for a symbolic wedding ceremony is usually around 650,00 – 950,00 EUR.

Backup generator / Portable Generator

Depending on the size of the event and the expected power requirements, some venues may require a backup generator to ensure everything runs seamlessly throughout the wedding. Rental prices typically range from 2,500 – 3,000 EUR.

Marquee tent (Plan B in case of rain)

Full marquee tent as a Plan B rain option for ceremony or dinner: from 4.000 EUR per tent (if the tent is required to be set up)

If arriving to the date and we don’t need to set up the tent, the total cost would only be the cost of the down payment (1100,00 – 1500,00 EUR approx)

Welcome / Rehearsal Dinner

At a local restaurant, group menus are typically: 60,00 – 80,00 EUR per person including a three-course dinner with wines.

For pre-wedding events at private villas, paella show-cooking experiences are available from approximately 50,00 EUR per guest, depending on the menu and guest count.
